Committed to Helping You Feel Your Best

Welcome to my practice! Seeking therapy is a brave and proactive step towards personal growth and feeling better. All kinds of people enter therapy at different times in their lives, feeling bad and stuck in unhappiness or worrying without knowing how to stop. You may be entering transitional periods in your life, facing big obstacles, or feeling defeated. Therapy provides an opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, nurturing space.
As a licensed psychologist with a decade of experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, each with their unique story, struggles, and aspirations. I understand that everyone is trying their best; as a therapist, my role is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable and empowered throughout your journey. While I treat clients facing many challenges, some common goals I help my clients address include improving self-esteem and building confidence, reducing anxiety, coping with depression, and adjusting to life challenges or transitions. If you are facing difficulties with stress, decision-making, loneliness, relationships, or work, I may be able to help.
I believe that true change occurs through collaborative efforts with my clients and their commitment to the process. Therapeutic relationships are partnerships built on trust and open communication.
During our initial sessions, we'll work together to understand your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. This will help us develop a personalized approach that resonates with you and aligns with your needs. My primary approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy, which focuses on challenging negative patterns of thinking in order to alter emotional reactions and behavior patterns that are associated with life dissatisfaction. We will also work together to develop skills around relaxation, mindfulness, stress-reduction, and nurturing holistic health.
Taking the first step towards therapy can be daunting, but know that you are not alone in this journey. Many individuals seek therapy, and there is strength in recognizing when you could use help. I invite you to schedule an appointment so we can explore how I can best support you on your path toward feeling better.
Throughout my education and career, I have worked in outpatient and school settings. I am a Washington State Licensed Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. I received my Doctorate in Psychology, Certificate of Advanced Study, and Master of Science with Distinction in School-Community Psychology degree from Hofstra University, and earned my Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College of Columbia University. I am a member of the Washington State Psychological Association and, granted by the PSYPACT Commission, I am authorized to practice telepsychology in 40 states.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
